Major producers require a very thin lubricant coating on the surface of metal strip material, such as tin plate, chrome plate, aluminum sheet, galvanized sheet and cold-rolled plates.
 
The traditional method is roller. Oil weight of this way is high (usually 100 g /m2).The oil coating is not controlled. And it will be affected by metal shape. So, few producers use this coating method today.
 
Electrostatic Oiler is non-contact method. The different atomization principle is used. The oil mist particles are charged after atomization. The oil is adsorped on metal surfaces with uniformity. So it is low oil weight (up to 2 mg / square meter) and coating uniformity.

Oil Tech oilers are divided into vertical and horizontal types. For vertical type,the oil weight is from 2 to 12.5 mg/m2. for horizontal type,the oil weight is from 200 to 3500 mg/m2.
 
Above oil weight depends on line speed, strip width, etc.
